As we approach the end of this long winter, I thought it would be the perfect time to share my free Snowdrop Doll pattern with you!
I created this pattern back in 2021, and since then, I've seen so many adorable Snowdrop Dolls made from it.

Materials and supplies
This toy was made of 100% mercerized cotton yarn which weights is 50g/125m (each ball is less than 50 g). The toy crocheted with the recommended yarn is appr. 20 cm tall.

Abbreviations
I use US terms in all my English crochet patterns.
ch - chain
st - stitch
sc - single crochet
sl st - slip stitch
inc - increase
dec - decrease
dec3 - decrease in 3 sts together
(..) - number of stitches in a round/row
()*… - repeat instructions in brackets … times
Arms - make two pieces
The arms are not stuffed.
Start: with with the color of the skin make a magic ring.
1. 6 sc in a magic ring (6)
2. (sc, inc)*3 (9)
3-4. sc in each stitch (2 rounds) (9)
Change color to dark green.
5. sc in each stitch (9)
6. (sc, dec)*3 (6)
7-14. sc in each stitch (6) (8 rounds)
15. fold in half, then crochet together with 3 sc (3)
Cut the yarn. If you want to sew the arms, leave a long tail for each, and sew the arms onto row 26 of the body. If you prefer to crochet them together with the body, weave in the ends and crochet them onto both sides symmetrically in the 26th row of the body.
Legs - make two pieces
Start: with with the color of the skin make a magic ring.
1. 6 sc in a magic ring (6)
2. inc*6 (12)
3. (sc, inc)*6 (18)
4-5. sc in each stitch (2 rounds) (18)
6. 6 sc, dec3*2, 6 sc (14)
7. 4 sc, dec3*2, 4 sc (10)
Stuff the leg.
8. 2 sc, dec3*2, 2 sc (6)
Change color to dark green.
9. sc in each stitch (6)
10. (sc, inc)*3 (9)
11. (2 sc, inc)*3 (12)
12. sc in each stitch (12)
Cut the yarn and weave in the end.
Make two pieces; for the second one, do not cut the yarn, continue crocheting.
Body
In the following steps, we will join the two legs. Crochet 6 ch on the second leg, connect the other leg with a slip stitch into the third stitch after the finishing sc, then crochet one ch. Pay attention to symmetrical joining.
1. 12 sc on the right leg, 6 ch in the back loop of the ch sts, 12 sc on the left leg, 6 ch in the front loop of the ch sts (36)
2. 12 sc, inc, 4 sc, inc, 12 sc, inc, 4 sc, inc (40)
3. 13 sc, inc, 5 sc, inc, 13 sc, inc, 5 sc, inc (44)
4-12. sc in each stitch (9 rounds) (44)
Crochet 7 sc to position the decreases on the side of the body. Move the beginning st.

Head

Cut the yarn, leaving a long tail, which will be used to make the ear.
For the ear, pull the yarn at the place where you want to make the ear, crochet 5 sc, secure with a sl st, and weave in the end.
Hat
Start: with dark green yarn make a magic ring.
1. 6 sc in a magic ring (6)
2. inc *6 (12)
3. (sc, inc)*6 (18)
4. (2 sc, inc)*6 (24)
5-7. sc in each stitch (3 rounds) (24)
Change color to white.
8. (3 sc, inc)*6 (30)

12-19. sc in each stitch (8 rounds)
Crochet around with slip st between the 18-19 rounds. This creates the lower edge of the snowdrop flower.
Petals - make three pieces
Start: with white yarn make a magic ring.

Attach the petals to the hat.
The hat should be stuffed before attaching.
Embroider the hair.
