Tips for crocheting – Eye embroidery
Hi there!
On my crochet journey, I’ve seen many beautiful creations with embroidered eyes. I’ve tried some of them myself, but I was often unhappy with the result. The reason is simple: the yarn kept shifting from one side to the other.
I don’t think this method is very durable because when a toy is in a child’s hands, it needs to be safe, no yarn should move or be easily pulled out, right?
So, I decided to make a small change to fix this issue.
Here’s how I do it:
First, I create a straight line on the outer edge of the eye. Then, I bring the yarn back to the center of this line and secure it with a stitch. Simple, right? Try it out, and you’ll see, your toys will be much safer! 😊

I use this embroidery method a lot because it's easy, quick, and adds a cute touch to my amigurumi faces. Try it out, and you'll see! It's safer this way, and your work will last much longer than you think! :)
